Steps4Life helps to make it a little easier with 4 main philosophies in mind: stay realistic and keep it easy, increase motivation, maintain accountability, and provide feedback. Steps4Life suggests simple tips that combat common obstacles in a busy life. Steps4Life provides tons of information on the benefits of healthful living to increase motivation. Documentation helps increase accountability. Knowing what benefits are being gained and seeing progress with charts, provides feedback on progress.
Home:
• Contains todays Step summary and the Step progress graph
• Toggle the graph from weekly to monthly by tapping on the title and take its snapshot by tapping on the camera icon
• Access the apps settings by tapping on the gear icon
Steps:
• Contains the Steps in progress (if any)
• A Step item displays its category, goal, level, and visual representation of weekly progress with bars
• A Step lasts for 7 days (unless deleted) and its progress builds up and needs to be completed every day
• An orange progress bar represents a Step completed for the day, black progress bar represents a Step not completed for the current day, and a gray bar represents a past Step missed altogether
• Swipe a Step item to the left and tap Complete to complete for the current day
• Swipe a Step item to the left and tap End to completely end its progress

• The guide is grouped by categories and each category contains information about its life goal, unit (in terms of daily serving or share of the life goal), why it is important to follow, what is part of the category, and a detailed list of good (healthy) and better (very healthy) tips to reach a Steps goal
